Ulcerative Colitis Mrs I Jones had suffered chronic Ulcerative Colitis for 10 years. It had been worse for the last two years. She was on high dose of steroid (prednisolone, 40mg per day) but didn’t feel better. She was having diarrhoea with blood and mucus over 10 times a day, accompanied with lethargy, weakness, bloating.
